Ben is in the twilight of his twenties.  Actually he’s been there for a while, but now (to follow the metaphor) the last rays of light are disappearing over the horizon and he’s disappointed this isn’t provoking an existential crisis.

Ok, he didn’t invent Facebook or become an astronaut, but astronauts are probably circling the Earth, 300km up thinking about how they never joined a grunge band and toured the globe.  Given the last decade of his life back to live again, he doubts he’d have done things significantly differently.

Except maybe for the Facebook thing, he’d totally have invented that.

  1. Not cool, man.

  2. In a related note, I totally screwed up my midlife crisis. I bought the motorcycle 5 years ago, so I’ve got no idea what I’m going to do when I’m 40.

Probably join a grunge band for the 90’s revival.

  3. Awww….trust me, turning 30 is no different to turning 29 😉

  4. I guess that’s the point – and I’m a little disappointed. I feel there’s a great deal of ritual wailing and gnashing of teeth that I’m entitled to here, that I just can’t tap into.

  5. Hmmm….you could just do the wailing and gnashing of teeth anyway. Just for show, you know? 😉
