Wolverton

Wolverton is using his palms to stop the mater et pater of all headaches from escaping through his eyeballs.  Nearby, he hears Chen Baochai talking in Cantonese with someone he only knows as Mr Yeung.  The conversation finishes and there’s the soft scrape of a chair in front of him.

Wolverton cracks an agonised eyelid.

“Good news, Mr Jones.  Mr Yeung says his men have spotted Shen Xue, just where you said.”  She looks at him critically.  “Are you up to this?”

Wolverton nods, very slowly.  “Can’t stop now, Ms Chen.  Not until I see the bottom of this rabbit hole.”
